Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with general education staff, adapting lessons and providing targeted interventions to help every student reach their potential. Your expertise will drive individualized education plans (IEPs) and support meaningful progress for those who need it most.

Qualifications:

• Valid Tennessee Special Education teaching license and credentials
• Experience working as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in K-12 settings
• Ability to manage a K-12 caseload and meet compliance requirements
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Dedication to inclusive education and student advocacy

Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and assess instruction for students with varying abilities in an inclusion model
• Develop and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, families, and support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Foster a supportive learning environment that addresses both academic and social-emotional needs
