Manager, Global Medical Information

AbbVie seeks a Manager of Global Medical Information to provide accurate, unbiased medical content and expert responses on assigned therapeutic areas for healthcare professionals and consumers. The role involves developing global response documents, managing complex medical inquiries, and collaborating across cross-functional teams to support medical affairs objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain global medical content and response documents for product and disease state inquiries
• Respond to unsolicited inquiries from healthcare professionals and consumers with accurate, timely information
• Evaluate complex clinical literature and data while ensuring regulatory compliance
• Represent AbbVie Medical Information at scientific conferences as required
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify medical information insights and strategic solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, PA, Pharmacy, PhD in Health Sciences, or MD/DO
• 2+ years pharmaceutical industry experience or 4+ years healthcare-related experience
• Substantial understanding of relevant therapeutic area(s)
• Strong clinical knowledge of disease states and clinical trial methodology
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and medical information systems
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills; medical writing desired
• Drug Information residency preferred
