Business Intelligence Manager, Kroger

Job DescriptionDeveloping data tools, providing insights resources and creating story telling visuals in collaboration with our Kroger Sales TeamWe're seeking a skilled professional that can develop tools to support our data analytics, sales and category teams. This role will be responsible for building dynamic dashboards, implementing new visualization tools and bringing data sources together to translate analytics into actionable insights.This role requires an individual with strong agility and the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment. If you're passionate about data analytics, collaboration, and driving results, we want to hear from you!Primary ResponsibilitiesLeading the data platform infrastructure for the Kroger sales teamBuilding dynamic reporting utilizing multiple internal and external data sources (i.e. Stratum, Circana, M6, Snowflake, Compass)Creating data visuals to score card results, illustrating forward looking forecasts and decomp competitive insightsProvide thought leadership on data analytics, staying up-to-date on industry benchmarks and best practicesMinimum QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is preferredMinimum 1-3 years of experience in data analytics/visualization and/or category managementExperience with data manipulation and processing, including data validation and synthesis methodologySolid understanding of Power BI tools and recent work done on synthesizing dataAbility to read and write SQL queries strongly preferredStrong commercial background and social skills, with the ability to understand context and apply it to drive advanced analysisFoundational experience with Snowflake (or other SQL based tools). Experience with other data and analytics platforms are a plusUnderstanding of industry data metrics related to sales and inventory, shopper/panel, and point of sale dataSkills/AbilitiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform situation analysis, track financial returns, and identify growth strategiesAbility to collaborate cross functionally and amongst large teams.Process management skills, with a focus on accurate and timely reporting, and a drive to improve and streamline processesAbility to quickly learn new programs and capabilitiesWork Environment:This is a hybrid office role with minimal travel, working in an open workspace.
