In this role, you'll work closely with physicians and patients to provide high-quality, compassionate care in an outpatient setting.If you're an RN looking for a part-time opportunity with a consistent weekday schedule, a supportive team environment and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients, we would love to meet you.Allergy RN - South RegionPart-Time, 24 hours/weekHours: Monday-Friday, Rotating SaturdaysLocation: Orland Park, Joliet, Lockport$5,000 Sign-On Bonus EligibleKey Responsibilities:Provide high-quality nursing care and support to physicians and patients.Room patients, obtain vital signs and review medical history and symptoms.Perform telephone triage and respond to patient questions and concerns.Provide patient education and communicate with patients regarding test results, medications and follow-up care.Administer immunizations, allergy treatments and other treatments as ordered.Assist physicians with procedures and other in-office clinical needs.Coordinate with pharmacies, laboratories and other healthcare providers as needed.Prepare and maintain exam rooms, equipment and supplies.Document patient care accurately and maintain complete medical records.Serve as a patient advocate and help ensure a positive, compassionate patient experience.Work collaboratively with physicians and the broader care team to provide excellent patient care.Experience and QualificationsCurrent IL RN licensureGraduate of an accredited Nursing ProgramCurrent CPR certificationPrefer a minimum of one year of professional nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting but may consider new grad under specific circumstancesThe compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $27.00-38.50, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
