Candidate must reside in lower 48 states (Continental US) and comfortable working EST time zone hours.Project ScopeWe are seeking an experienced Senior Application Developer to support the maintenance, enhancement, and operational stability of enterprise case management and juror management systems built on a CA Plex (model-driven) platform. This role is critical in ensuring business continuity for mission-critical systems, while supporting integrations, improving data quality, and maintaining performance as part of ongoing modernization efforts.Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Maintenance & SupportMaintain and support CA Plex-based applications across multiple environmentsTroubleshoot production issues, defects, and data anomaliesPerform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixesProvide support for critical system issues as neededEnhancements & Business Logic UpdatesDesign and implement enhancements within the CA Plex modelModify: Business rules Screens and workflows Batch processes and reportsEnsure updates align with business and regulatory requirementsCA Plex DevelopmentWork within the CA Plex development environment to update objects and functionsRegenerate and deploy application componentsMaintain integrity of model-driven architectureDatabase & Data ManagementDevelop and optimize SQL Server (T-SQL) queries and stored proceduresPerform data corrections and data integrity checksTune performance for large-scale datasetsSystem IntegrationSupport Maintain integrations with internal and external systemsSupport transition from legacy interfaces to API-based integrationsEnsure data consistency across systemsReporting & Data SupportDevelop queries and data extracts for reportingSupport data feeds into data warehouse environmentsCollaborate with analytics teams to ensure data accuracyCollaboration & DocumentationWork with business users and technical teams to deliver solutionsDocument system changes, business rules, and technical processesSupport knowledge transfer to internal teamsRequired Skills & Experience· 12+ years of application development experience· 7+ years of experience with CA Plex or similar 4GL/model-driven environments· 7+ years of experience with SQL Server / T-SQL· 7+ years of experience maintaining legacy or enterprise systems· Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsPreferred Skills· Experience with data warehouse architecture (star/snowflake schema)· Knowledge of Power BI backend optimization· Familiarity with .NET data access patterns· Experience with Always On Availability Groups· Exposure to Azure DevOps· Familiarity with security tools (e.g., WAF solutions)· Experience working with large-scale legacy data environmentsEducationBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experienceSUNSHINE ENTERPRISE USA LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race or ethnicity, religion, sex, national origin, age, veteran disability or genetic information or any other reason prohibited by law in employment.
