Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position features a fulfilling 4-day work week (30 hours per week), giving you the opportunity to make a difference while enjoying a healthy work-life balance. You’ll have the opportunity to work with both elementary and high school students across two dedicated campuses, focusing on fostering communication skills that empower lifelong learning and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing screenings and diagnostic assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) for diverse student populations
  • Provide direct therapy tailored to individual needs, addressing a range of communication disorders
  • Collaborate closely with educators, staff, and families to promote student progress and engagement
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress tracking in compliance with school standards
  • Attend paid team meetings and utilize dedicated administrative time for planning and paperwork
  • Balance your schedule with three days at an elementary school site and one day at a high school

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active (or eligibility to obtain) South Carolina SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
  • Willingness to complete background and fingerprinting clearance
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
