Job Details Job Function: Discovery & Pre-Clinical/Clinical Development Job Sub Function: Animal Medicine Job Category: Scientific/Technology Location: Irvine, California, United States of America Responsibilities As a Preclinical Research Intern you will work with scientists and data engineers to support projects across clinical studies, post‑marketing studies, and Real World Evidence registry studies. You will gather data from various information sources, assist in planning and designing instrumentation and research methodology, and perform data analysis to determine trends and discrepancies in patient outcomes. Qualifications Completion of an undergraduate freshman year at an accredited university is required. Currently pursuing a BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Biostatistics or Statistics, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related discipline. Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher. Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong analytical, quantitative, and programming skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills are preferred. Compensation & Benefits Expected pay: $26.50 per hour. Co-ops and interns are eligible to participate in company-sponsored employee medical benefits, up to 40 hours of sick time per calendar year (up to 56 hours for employees in Washington state), and the company’s consolidated retirement plan.
