Position Summary An immediate opening is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide therapeutic support in a school setting located in Coachella, CA. This full‑time position offers a consistent 40‑hour workweek, starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the current school year with the possibility of extending into the next year. Key Responsibilities Assist in implementing occupational therapy programs for students under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to create and adapt individualized therapy plans Document student progress and maintain accurate records to evaluate therapy outcomes Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches for student success Qualifications and Experience Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Experience working in school‑based occupational therapy settings preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to meet diverse student needs Commitment to supporting student development and educational goals Location Coachella, CA Compensation and Benefits Compensation ranges from $23.67 to $45.00.
