Supported by advanced training and cutting-edge technology, youll grow as an educator and find purpose in helping pilots excel, no matter the challenges they face./ppThe Instructor Pilot is responsible for delivering high-quality flight simulator and ground school training in accordance with applicable regulatory agency requirements, CAE-approved curricula, and customer standards. Acting as a subject matter expert (SME), the Instructor Pilot leads clients through their training experience while ensuring professionalism, safety, and instructional excellence./ppAfter approximately 1.5 years, and based on business needs, designated instructors are expected to qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliDeliver simulator and classroom instruction on assigned aircraft types for licenses, type ratings, certificates, and pilot qualifications./liliConduct thorough and professional pre- and post-flight simulator briefings in accordance with CAE standards./liliMaintain accurate training records, track instructional qualifications, and recommend remedial training when required./liliServe as a subject matter expert (SME) in the development and maintenance of curricula and courseware when needed./liliProvide a professional, welcoming learning environment while delivering consistent, customer-focused training./li/ulh2Minimum Qualifications/h2ulliHold, or meet qualifications to obtain, an unrestricted ATP certificate and a minimum of one unrestricted PIC type rating./liliMust be typed on Phenom 300./liliStrong passion for teaching with excellent verbal and written communication skills./liliBasic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and other internet-based applications./liliMust participate in CAEs DOT Drug Alcohol testing program./liliMust be authorized to live and work in the United States./li/ulh3Physical Requirements/h3ulliPhysical dexterity to perform tasks requiring hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills./liliAbility to sit in a confined space for 46 hours at a time with limited breaks./liliAbility to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours) with limited breaks./liliAbility to sit, stoop, climb, twist, and turn as required for simulator instruction./li/ulh2Preferred Qualifications/h2ulliExperience flying business aircraft and single pilot./liliPrior instructional or training experience./liliDemonstrated ability to tailor instruction to a diverse, global customer base./liliStrong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records in compliance with CAE and FAA requirements./li/ulh2Benefits/h2ulliCompetitive salary./liliEmployee and Family Assistance Programs./li/ulh2E-Verify/h2pAs a Federal Contractor, CAE participates in the E-Verify Program to confirm employment eligibility in the United States.
