Industrial Maintenance TechnicianHiFyve is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician!Starting Pay: up to $39.50+/hour (starting pay based on skills and experience)Shift: 1st | 3rdLocation: Greater Milwaukee, WIJob Duties and Responsibilities:Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, overhaul, and rebuilding of industrial production equipmentDiagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issuesMaintain and repair industrial equipment including motors, pumps, compressors, furnaces, conveyors, dust collection systems, and other critical production machineryLead equipment overhauls, rebuilds, installations, commissioning, and startup activitiesTroubleshoot electrical systems, including high-voltage equipment, VFDs, PLCs, and automated control systemsMaintain and troubleshoot complex hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and fluid power systemsUtilize advanced diagnostic and predictive maintenance technologies, including vibration analysis, thermography, and ultrasonic testingPerform root cause analysis to identify recurring equipment failures and implement long-term corrective actionsSupport the installation, integration, upgrade, and retrofit of new production equipmentCollaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, safety, and uptimeLead maintenance activities during planned shutdowns, major repairs, and equipment overhaulsMentor and train junior maintenance technicians and mechanicsSupport preventative and predictive maintenance programs using CMMS systemsPerform advanced welding, fabrication, and machining to repair or modify equipment and componentsDevelop and maintain maintenance procedures, SOPs, repair documentation, and equipment recordsFollow and enforce OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and all applicable safety proceduresParticipate in safety audits, training, and continuous improvement initiativesEducation Requirements:Technical degree, certification, apprenticeship, or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field preferredEquivalent hands-on industrial maintenance experience will be consideredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience requiredAdvanced mechanical troubleshooting and repair experienceStrong electrical troubleshooting experience, including motors, controls, VFDs, and high-voltage equipmentExperience troubleshooting PLCs and industrial automation systemsStrong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systemsExperience with predictive maintenance technologies and diagnostic tools preferredExperience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actionsAdvanced welding, fabrication, and machining skills preferredExperience leading equipment installations, major repairs, shutdowns, or overhaul projectsStrong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and train other techniciansExperience working with CMMS and preventative maintenance systemsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and lead complex maintenance projectsStrong commitment to workplace safety and Lockout/Tagout proceduresAbility to work in a physically demanding industrial environment, including high-temperature conditionsAbility to stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, and perform physical maintenance activities for extended periodsAbility to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to successfully complete pre-employment screening requirementsBenefits Include:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceLife insuranceShort-term and long-term disability coverage401(k) with company matchPaid vacationPaid holidaysStable, long-term manufacturing career opportunityCareer growth and advancement opportunities
