Only candidates with CNC Lathe setup experience will be considered for this role.

Shift: Part-Time Options for weekends only.

Full-Time Options below.

• 3 days per week Fri, Sat, Sun
• 4 days per week Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun
• 5 days per week Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs

We are seeking an experienced Machinists to join our team and help drive operational success on the production floor.

Position Overview:

As a Swiss lathe machinist at Connecta, you will play a critical role in producing aerospace precision parts. This position requires a thorough understanding of machining with CNC Swiss style lathes. Expereince is required. You must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate CNC machines while measuring parts and making necessary offsets or tool changes to maintain tolerances.

Setup machinists are required to perform complete change over process efficiently and dial in parts to produce First Article pieces for quality inspection.

Read and follow Routing Instructions, inspection reports, blueprints, specifications, and quality control plans to produce finished parts.

Operate Benchtop lathes and general shop equipment including saws, belt sanders, grinding and buffing wheels as needed.

Inspect produced parts as required using calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, inspection systems, and a variety of gages to ensure accuracy.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Required Skills:

Accurately read drawings and blueprints. Proficient understanding of GD&T.

Proficiency in using a variety of common inspection tools and measuring devices including calipers, gages, optical comparators, and micrometers.

Minimum of 2 years experience CNC lathe machining experience

General knowledge of Machine Tooling

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of multi axis Lathe Machines (will be working on L12, L20, M32 Citizen Models)

Proficiency with Mitsubishi controls and G & M code.

Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

Work in a high change over environment (Job Shop)
