Agentic AI Research Intern

Job Location: Santa Clara, California Fujitsu Research of America, Inc. (FRA) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fujitsu Laboratories Ltd., focusing on advanced research in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and system components. Job Description Conduct original research on agentic AI systems, including coding agents and computer-use agents, with the goal of publishing at top ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR). Collaborate closely with Fujitsu researchers to identify and pursue open problems in agentic AI applied to complex, real‑world software environments. Qualifications Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Strong research potential demonstrated through publications, workshop papers, or other output. Research experience with LLMs, agentic AI, or world models. Experience improving AI agents with training or inference‑time methods. Pay range for this role is estimated at $40/hr to $50/hr USD.
