About the Role:

Rita Assisted Living in Highland Springs, VA is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Nursing professional to join our caring team. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and monitor residents' health conditions on a daily basis
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Assess and document changes in residents' physical and mental health status
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care team members to develop and implement care plans
• Respond promptly to resident needs, emergencies, and medical concerns
• Educate residents and their families on health conditions, medications, and care procedures
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations

Requirements:

• Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Virginia
• Prior experience in assisted living, long-term care, or geriatric nursing preferred
• Strong knowledge of medication administration and infection control protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure or emergency situations
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to resident care
• CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
