Requirements:

• Required Certifications: BLS
• Required Skills: Adult Outpatient Clinic, Amblyopia, Aseptic Technique, Assist Ophthalmologist during examinations and surgeries, Autorefractor, Basic Eye Exam, Biohazard waste disposal, Checking Extra-Ocular Muscles, Checking Vision Near and Distance, Confrontational fields, Corneal Topography, Double vision, Explain discharge instructions, Eye discharge, Floaters, Follow up phone calls, Humphrey visual field analyzer, HVF, Identify equipment malfunction, Inform physician of preliminary findings, Insert and remove contact lenses, Instruct patients regarding contact lenses care/maintenance, Keratometry, Label Medications, Labeling of specimens, Lensometer, Lensometry, Light sensitivity, Locate and record external elements of the eye, Measure and record visual acuity and color vision testing, Obtain and record medical history, Obtain visual acuity uncorrected and corrected, Obtain Vital Signs, Oct and Fundus Photography, Optical biometry, Pain or irritation, Patient education, Patient teaching regarding ocular medications, Patient teaching: dressings, Pentacam, Perform auto-refraction, Perform diagnostic photography exams, Perform intraocular pressure measurements, Perform lensometry and sit-lamp examinations, Perform papillary examination, Perform Schirmer tear test, Physician’s office, Place dilating drops in eyes as ordered, Plus Cylinder, Preparing injections, Record History/Medications/Allergies, Retinal OCT, Strabismus screenings, Universal precautions, Vision changes, Visual Fields, Middle Adult, Older Adult, Young Adult

Job Details:

• Pay: $0/week - $1111/week
• Assignment Length: 13-week assignment
• Shift: 5, 8-Hour 08:30 - 17:00
