CNC Lathe Machinist (Mazak)

Location: Austin, TX

Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Overview: Seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist with strong Mazak experience. This is a hands-on role working directly at the machine, including programming, setup, and production.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and run Mazak lathes and Integrex machines
• Program and edit Mazatrol programs at the machine
• Manufacture low-volume parts (typical runs around 50 pieces) with tight tolerances
• Verify part quality and ensure accuracy during production
• Document setups, tooling, and processes with revision control
• Identify and implement solutions to reduce scrap

Requirements:

• Experience setting up, programming and running Mazak machines
• Ability to program and edit Mazatrol at the control
• Strong understanding of tight-tolerance machining
• Ability to work independently in a small shop environment

Pay: Open, based on experience

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Overtime not typical
