Paul Mitchell The School St. Louis is searching for a part-time Service Desk Coordinator at our St. Louis, MO campus. This part-time customer service role offers competitive pay at $17 per hour, along with employee discounts on products and services, monthly paid staff training, and the chance to support student clubs and activities.
Paul Mitchell The School St. Louis is a premier cosmetology school dedicated to training future beauty professionals in the heart of the Central West End. This part-time customer service position requires flexibility, with shifts available in the mornings, afternoons, evenings, and on Saturdays. You will work onsite at our St. Louis campus.
As a part-time Service Desk Coordinator, you will greet and accommodate guests who call, text, or enter the school, making a memorable first impression every day. You will participate in assisting and mentoring our Future Professionals as they observe and learn the systems required for a smooth guest service experience, from check-in to check-out. You will handle phone systems, manage cash drawers, schedule guest appointments, and support a positive learning environment for all who enter our campus.
Service Desk Coordinator Requirements
- Customer service experience
- Sales (supporting and recommending products and services to guests) experience
- Experience maintaining organized product displays and stocked retail shelves
- Experience in handling phone systems
- Ability to manage cash and balance cash drawers
- Friendly personality
- Good organization and communication skills
- Passion for the beauty industry, honesty, and professionalism
- Basic computer and software skills
- Ability to stand, walk, perform repetitive motions, and spend time at a computer screen
