Job Title: Rapid Response RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Rapid Response Duration: 6 Weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 36 months RN experience, with at least one year in an ICU License: RN Licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale Must-Have: Ability to care for 1-3 ICU patients and comfort in managing patients on ventilators. Description: We are seeking a Rapid Response RN for a 6-week assignment. The position requires a minimum of 36 months of RN experience, including at least one year in an ICU setting. Candidates must have experience in caring for up to 1-3 ICU patients. Comfort in managing patients on ventilators is essential. Bedside shift reporting will be conducted for each patient during care transitions. Proficiency in reading telemetry strips is required. Experience in post-operative care, specifically CABG cases, is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable with various advanced procedures conducted in the unit. Advanced skills like CRRT, advanced hemodynamics, and phlebotomy are needed. There is an opportunity to train in Neuro ICU or Cardiovascular ICU specialties. The unit offers a supportive environment for gaining experience with advanced technology. New equipment and technology are available for use in patient care. The schedule requires working 3 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend. Travelers are expected to float as needed.
