We seek a Full‑Time Controller with experience in construction or subcontracting trades. The successful candidate is knowledgeable and well‑versed in all aspects of accounting and business management for construction companies with gross receipts under $10,000,000. The clients we serve rely on us to crush their job cost, cashflow, and profitability analysis. Attention to detail, teamwork, and concise communication are a must. The right candidate possesses a mindset that thinks proactively and analytically to spot issues and provide solutions for our clients. Duties Advanced bookkeeping & job costing Customized QuickBooks Online reports Preparation and internal review of financial statements Assisting with banking/finance documents Work comp audits & 1099 prep Preparation of cash flow projections and debt schedules Oversight of Accounts Payable Must Haves Great positive attitude Ability to balance multiple projects while monitoring and upholding deadlines Self‑starter who takes a proactive approach Excellent written and verbal skills Passionate about helping clients, cultivating relationships, and building trust Confidence and love of learning new things Accountability (and know what it really means) Pretty darn analytical Thrive in a fast‑paced environment Superior client service standards Extreme attention to detail and organizational skills Authentic and kind, yet can hold boundaries Minimum Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Minimum of 3 years experience as a controller or similar managerial accounting position Highly proficient in QuickBooks Online for multiple entities Analysis of financial statements & advanced journal entries Ability to switch between accrual basis and cash basis Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook & Teams We offer a highly competitive compensation package including retirement plan & HSA, work‑life balance, and extensive career training opportunities.
