This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong background in accounting who is looking to make a significant impact in a thriving industry. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for numbers, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines during a fast-paced monthly close cycle Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, statement of shareholders’ equity, and cash flow statement in accordance with GAAP Assist in drafting financial statement footnotes for standalone audits and support preparation of SEC reporting packages for quarterly and annual filings Act as a liaison with external auditors by providing requested documentation and addressing audit-related inquiries Analyze financial statement components to identify trends, fluctuations, and variances, and clearly communicate findings Maintain and enhance financial reporting processes and support the effectiveness of internal controls Apply a strong understanding of GAAP principles along with solid analytical and problem-solving abilities Support the development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal control environments Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data while applying sound account reconciliation practices Perform balance sheet reconciliations and upload supporting documentation Prepare journal entries and related supporting schedules, including allocations and intercompany eliminations Generate ad hoc reports and assist with special projects as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
