Job Description

Join the Women's Services team at Rutherford Regional Medical Center, a 143-bed acute care facility that supports a full range of healthcare services. As a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery, you will work within a collaborative environment, providing care to mothers and newborns. The facility prioritizes quality patient care in a family-centered setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for laboring patients and newborns in the delivery unit.
• Assist obstetricians in labor and delivery processes.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health during delivery.
• Support postpartum care for mothers and their infants, ensuring a smooth transition back to home.
• Document care provided in accordance with policies and procedures using MediTech EHR.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with charge experience preferred.
• Experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, and Gynecology required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license to practice in North Carolina required.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHON certifications required.
• Fetal Monitoring certification preferred.
