Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2390 per week.

Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years experience with full lifespan of patients (peds, adults, and geri). Required technical skills include trachs, nitrous oxide procedures, proning techniques, ECMO, critical care experience, ventilator-associated PNA or prevention experience, spontaneous breathing trials, and ABG draws.

Unit Details: Patient population includes neonates to geriatric respiratory patients. Equipment includes PB840, 980, Servo-U, and Hamilton ventilators; V60s, ResMed, and RemStar CPAP/BiPAP systems; Optiflow; and Hamilton transport ventilators. PPE is plentiful, and N95 respirators are available.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call. Holiday coverage as needed.

Floating Requirements: Floating is within the hospital.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
