Work Environment\nThis position allows for a flexible remote work setting, providing mental health counselors with the freedom to manage their day-to-day tasks while staying connected with our team of professionals. Our office hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of each patient’s unique needs and circumstances. \n
- Develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused modalities. \n
- Lead psychoeducational groups and support sessions to engage clients, addressing issues such as anxiety management, coping skills, and life transitions. \n
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, discussing treatment progress and planning. \n
- Provide crisis intervention services as necessary, guiding patients through acute mental health situations with care and professionalism. \n
- Educate patients about mental health conditions and available resources, fostering an understanding of their treatment and recovery processes. \n
- Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, contributing to a seamless continuity of care. \n
- Engage actively in ongoing professional development and team meetings, sharing knowledge and best practices. \n
- Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy to contribute to best practices within the organization. \n
The patients you will be working with come from varied backgrounds and present an array of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LPCC in California is essential. \n
- Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques. \n
- Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and create effective, individualized treatment plans. \n
- Experience providing therapy to diverse populations, with a focus on individual and group settings. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a commitment to ethical clinical practices. \n
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications to manage patient information effectively. \n
- A collaborative mindset to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. \n

- Previous experience in an outpatient psychiatric setting is highly preferred. \n
- Knowledge of specific therapeutic interventions or specialties, such as trauma-informed care or substance use counseling, is an asset. \n
- Comfort and proficiency working with telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy sessions. \n
The competitive salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually.
