Job Overview: We are seeking a dependable, patient and professional Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a commitment to safety, and experience operating various types of commercial vehicles. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting residents and maintaining vehicle integrity while adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all upkeep and maintenance of bus, including interior cleaning.
• Inspects bus before each trip and fills out appropriate paperwork.

Activity Director coordinates and provides the monthly bus schedule to drive.

Experience and Requirements:

• Previous experience driving bus in St. Louis City and County
• Must have the minimum of CDL- with Class C passenger endorsement
• Must provide a current, non-expired CDL

Skills and Competencies Required:

• Knowledgeable of bus operations- lift hatch, wheelchair securement
• Knowledgeable of CPR and First Aid
• Demonstrate knowledge of transportation policy and safety
• Must have ability to work well and demonstrate patience with senior adults
• Must be flexible and personable
• Must exhibit willingness to help residents with their packages
• Must be available to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
• Must be able to perform the essential physical/mental functions/requirements of the position
