Ameristaff is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper for a full-time, temporary-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate must have previous bookkeeping experience and be proficient in QuickBooks and Peachtree . The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of bookkeeping and tax-related duties, including payroll taxes, sales tax, state reporting, federal reporting, and IFTA taxes. Job Title: Bookkeeper Employment Type: Full-Time Position Type: Temporary to Hire Pay Rate: $18.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Must be proficient in QuickBooks . Must be proficient in Peachtree . Strong attention to detail and accuracy required. Ability to calculate and prepare various tax and financial reports. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Candidate must be able to accurately calculate and prepare: Weekly Payroll Taxes State Taxes Quarterly IRS Form 941 Reports Quarterly VEC Reporting IFTA Taxes REQUIRED TESTING Candidates will be required to complete testing in the following areas: QuickBooks Microsoft Excel PAY & EMPLOYMENT Pay Rate: $18.00–$24.00/hour, depending on skill level and experience.
