Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with physical impairments using evidence-based techniques
• Develop personalized treatment plans to restore mobility and improve quality of life
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Florida or compact privilege
• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program (DPT preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility training
• Proficient with electronic medical records and documentation
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations for skilled nursing facilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
