As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor activity, and maintain clear, professional communication with employees and guests. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.66 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas. Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized access, unusual conditions, or security-related concerns. Maintain accurate logs and reports for visitor activity, access-control events, incidents, and shift handoffs in accordance with site-specific policies. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
