ALittle Tea is one of the major Boba and Milk Tea brands with global footprint. Our Los Angeles office is looking for a candidates with accounting and financial backgrounds for the Senior Financial Specialist position.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Financial Specialist located in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. The Senior Financial Specialist will be responsible for providing financial planning support, preparing accurate financial reports, and conducting in-depth financial analyses. The responsibilities for this role also include creating financial reports, forecasting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with financial and accounting regulations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support business financial goals is a key aspect of this position.

Job Responsibility

• Perform full‐cycle accounting, including journal entry preparation, preparation and review of financial statements, and investigation and analysis of financial variances. Proficient in inventory, purchasing and sales accounting; capable of independently handling full‐scope accounting operations for multiple entities.
• Manage U.S. tax‐related activities including sales tax, payroll tax withholding and corporate income tax. Familiar with U.S. LLC tax filings and able to independently complete end‐to‐end tax return preparation and filing.
• Support external auditors during annual audit procedures and provide required supporting documentation.
• Conduct operational and financial data analysis, leverage AI tools to boost work efficiency and improve the quality of data analytics.
• Independently manage banking operations including deposits, withdrawals, remittances and fund transfers.
• Other tasks assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Finance and Accounting
• 3-5 years of experience in general retail or food-service industry.
• Proven experience in Financial Reporting
• Excellent Communication skills with the ability to present financial insights effectively
• Attention to detail, high level of integrity, and problem-solving ability
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, or similar) are a plus
• Proficiency in financial modeling and use of financial software/tools
• Fluent in Chinese and English
• At least 2 years of experience working in a medium/large accounting firm is preferred.
