We're looking for a driven, people-focused Senior Operations Manager who thrives on building high-performing teams, delivering operational excellence, and creating exceptional customer experiences.
Position Summary

The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of Verde's services across assigned customer accounts. This role ensures customer needs are met with excellence by effectively managing people, resources, budgets, quality standards, and operational performance.

You will serve as a key leader within the organization, fostering strong client relationships, developing future leaders, and driving continuous improvement while embodying Verde's Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
What You'll Do
Safety: We Are Stewards of Your Mental and Physical Well-Being

• Champion a culture where safety always comes first.
• Proactively identify, assess, and resolve safety hazards and security concerns.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions when needed.
• Ensure proper use and compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Maintain expertise in janitorial industry equipment, tools, materials, and best practices.
• Lead by example through consistent adherence to Verde's safety standards and training programs.

• Educate employees and customers on sustainability initiatives and green cleaning practices.
• Support environmentally responsible sourcing and operational practices.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve resource efficiency, and minimize environmental impact.
• Maintain knowledge of green cleaning methods, products, and equipment.

• Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, staffing, route planning, and resource allocation.

• Perform additional duties as needed to support operational success.

• Employee Satisfaction (ESAT) - Team engagement, retention, and employee feedback.
• Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) - Customer experience, service quality, and relationship management.
• Quality - Inspection results and adherence to Verde service standards.
• Safety - Compliance with Environmental Health & Safety protocols and achievement of safety objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations management experience, preferably in janitorial, facilities services, property services, or a related industry.
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong customer relationship management and communication skills.
• Experience managing budgets, labor, and operational performance metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize, and execute in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Bilingual proficiency required: English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Passion for leadership, service excellence, sustainability, and people development.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Frequent walking and use of hands for operating equipment and performing detailed tasks.
• Occasional standing and sitting throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds when necessary.
