Senior Payments Performance Optimization Lead | Hybrid Role

The Purpose Reporting to the VP of Payment Performance Optimization, the Performance Optimization Manager will focus on maximizing payment outcomes for PPRO’s enterprise clients. Serving as the dedicated subject matter expert and primary spokesperson for large-scale accounts, you will drive authorization rates and performance excellence by applying a deep understanding of payment processing lifecycles, global card schemes regulations, and technical concepts like tokenization, 3DS authentication, and smart routing. Your impact in this role Performance Analytics: Analyze and review performance data (declines, conversion rates) to accurately communicate the status to clients. Client collaboration and presentations: Work closely, establish a feedback circle of data and information, build detailed performance data and findings for QBRs and ongoing calls. Cross-Functional collaboration: Collaborate with Account Management, Technical Account Managers, Product, Risk, Partnerships, and other teams. Optimization Playbooks: Build and deploy sophisticated optimization narratives and playbooks. What would make you a great fit Experience: 4–7 years in high-growth fintech, strategy consulting, or similar, with payment performance optimization experience of enterprise clients. Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of the payment lifecycle and card scheme regulations. Analytics Proficiency: Strong skills in data analysis and reporting. Mindset: Builder & Doer mentality with high systems-level thinking, willing to get hands dirty. Ambiguity Management: Able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Languages: Advanced/Fluent English. Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus. What's in it for you?
