Urological Associates of Western Colorado (UAWC) provides comprehensive treatment for conditions such as sexual health, prostate cancer, kidney disease, incontinence, overactive bladder, and pediatric urological conditions.

*Job Duties:*

Employees will provide support to physicians. PA or NP will generally work in an office setting when not assisting in surgery, rounding and occasional consults from the physicians. PA or NP may have combined days including surgery and clinic.

*General Duties:*

Perform complete evaluations on patients. Perform complete pre-operative H & Ps on surgical patients, identifying and alerting the surgeon to any disqualifying conditions that present. Order and interpret appropriate labs and special studies. Establish a working diagnosis based upon acquired data and develop a treatment/surgical plan. Provide appropriate follow-up care and implements therapeutic intervention. Exercise judgment on conditions requiring consultation, referral, or evaluation by the physician. Evaluate, screen and counsel patients on health maintenance and promote utilization of community resources where appropriate.

*Hospital Duties:*

Perform surgical assist duties as scheduled for employer physicians. Possibly conduct hospital rounds as needed. Evaluate care and order appropriate labs, special studies, IVs and therapeutic interventions, as appropriate.

*Office Duties:*

See new and follow-up patients and provide intervention that is problem-oriented for his/her condition. Refer patients, when appropriate, to the physician and assist in care, treatment, and follow-up as needed. Perform and/or assist in office procedures. Order and interpret lab, special studies, and clinical procedures and provide appropriate care and follow-up. Provide phone consultation for patient complaints and prescription refills. Monitor schedule to ensure maximum patient care and satisfaction.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,685.00 per year
