Location 4300 East 5th Avenue,Columbus, OH, 43219,United States Job Category Salaried Employee Type Full Time Required Degree High school Manage Others No Description Schottenstein Property Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Risk Management Administrative Coordinator to join its dynamic team to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Corporate Risk Management function, including Insurance, Claims, Loss Prevention, Safety, Compliance, and related business operations. The Risk Management Administrative Coordinator is a vital role that serves as a central resource for risk management activities, including coordinating insurance processes, maintaining critical records, supporting claims administration, processing invoices, preparing reports, managing compliance documentation, and serving as a liaison between internal departments, vendors, tenants, insurance carriers, and external agencies. Your energetic approach and organizational expertise through accurate documentation, reporting, process coordination, and attention to detail, will help maintain confidentiality, streamline data entry, and facilitate effective communication across departments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to an organization committed to excellence in risk oversight and client service, as well as support the efficient operation of the Risk Management department. Insurance Administration & Compliance Coordinate annual insurance renewals and maintain complete electronic insurance policy files. Request, review, process, and distribute Certificates of Insurance (COI) for tenants, vendors, contractors, and other business partners. Distribute insurance documents, insurance identification cards, and compliance-related information to appropriate internal and external stakeholders. Assist Accounting teams in providing insurance information for CAM packets. Prepare various reports at the request of Risk Management leadership. Assist with coordination of sprinkler, alarm, and backflow inspections. Assist with putting alarms on test status for testing and maintenance. Maintain corporate vehicle registration files and distribute renewal documents. Order, maintain, and distribute Trilogy locks as needed in coordination with Property Management team. Cross-train and provide backup support for other Risk Management team members as needed. Administrative Support Receive, stamp, and distribute department mail, as well as process and receive FedEx shipments. Receive, process, and distribute incoming invoices for payment to related companies. Process travel and entertainment expenses for department personnel. Assist with background check administration and records management activities in partnership with Human Resources. Support other internal administrative processes and duties as assigned. Requirements Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum one year of administrative, office support, customer service, risk management, insurance, claims, or related experience. Experience supporting business operations, records management, invoice processing, or compliance activities preferred. Insurance, loss prevention, claims administration, or accounts payable experience is highly desirable. Skills & Abilities Strong organizational and records management skills, including exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Strong customer service and relationship management skills; ability to interact professionally with executives, vendors, tenants, insurance representatives, service providers, and regulatory agencies. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Basic mathematical, analytical, and reporting skills. Excellent computer literacy, including data entry and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite ( specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel).
