News Partnerships and Operations Project Intern (TikTok-Operations-News) – 2026 Start (BS/MS) | TikTok The Tone: This is an internship at TikTok, located in Los Angeles, CA. TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, dedicated to inspiring creativity and bringing joy through its global platform. This role matters as it supports the Creator management team by recruiting, incubating, and scaling high-quality creators, specifically focusing on News creators in the U.S. The intern will gain hands‑on experience in high-impact projects that support creator growth, program operations, trend intelligence, and strategy, directly contributing to TikTok’s mission. The TL;DR Role: Internship Location: In-person, Los Angeles, CA Pay: $23.75 hourly Team: Creator management team, focused on News creators Mission: Support News creator growth and program operations to strengthen TikTok’s position in the creator space. Tech Stack: Spreadsheets, data tools What You’ll Actually Do Initiatives: Support the development and rollout of new creator initiatives that increase adoption of TikTok-owned products and programs. Identification: Identify high‑potential News creators and emerging voices by monitoring content trends, creator behavior, and platform activity. Operations: Independently manage end-to-end creator program operations, including lead vetting, creator onboarding, program tracking, data analysis, and support for top creator experience. Reporting: Produce regular reporting on the U.S. news industry, creator trends, audience behavior, news, and AI‑related developments. Collaboration: Partner cross‑functionally with Creator Management, Product, and other internal stakeholders to support creator initiatives from planning through execution. The Must-Haves Background: Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. Experience: Prior experience in creator operations, content strategy, journalism, community management, program management, or market/competitive research. Skills: Strong English, reading, writing, and synthesis skills; strong research, analytical, and organizational skills; comfortable using spreadsheets and data tools.
