System Operations Manager - Trade Support

About this role: This role is a leadership position within End User Services, responsible for leading Trader Desktop and Voice Support across the Central and Western U.S. trading floors, supporting Commodities, Equities, Fixed Income, and Advisor trading businesses. The role provides oversight of operational performance, risk management, incident resolution, and service delivery for critical desktop, voice, and collaboration technologies. Responsibilities include team leadership, onboarding, performance management, workforce planning, and building strong partnerships with Lines of Business. The successful candidate will work closely with Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Engineering teams to ensure support services are delivered effectively and aligned with regulatory, security, and operational requirements, while maintaining service excellence and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).In this role, you will: Manage a Systems Operations Engineers team that provides Desktop and Voice support to TradersEngage stakeholders and internal partners associated with the Systems Operations functional areaIdentify and recommend opportunities within Systems Operations to increase system efficiency and lower human intervention time on technical tasksMake decisions and resolve issues regarding operating systems, application software, and system management tools to meet business objectivesInterpret and develop policies and procedures, and understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported system areaCollaborate and consult with analysts, Information Technology personnel, or vendorsManage mid to highly experienced analystsManage allocation of people and financial resources for Systems OperationsMentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiringRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Systems Engineering, and Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2+ years of Leadership experience1+ year of direct management within technologyDesired Qualifications: 4+ years of experience leading and developing individual contributors in an IT or end‑user services environment supporting trader floorsBachelor's degree or above, in Computer Science, Business other related discipline Abilities to lead and drive Operation efficiencies & improvements, and automations Ownership of processes, procedures, or service offerings with moderate‑to‑high complexityStrong understanding of IT service operations, incident/problem management in ServiceNow, and continuous improvementDemonstrated risk management discipline and adherence to enterprise policies and controlsExperience balancing business outcomes with risk and regulatory requirementsExperience with cloud technologies, including Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and AWS.Ability to Drive operational efficiency and improve productivity.Works well under pressure with the ability to deliver information and services in an expedited manner.Experience in Data Analysis utilizing Microsoft Suite, and Ability to generate Executive summaries and present it in PowerPoint PresentationsUtilize data analysis and reporting tools to track operational performance, identify trends, and deliver meaningful insights to stakeholders through dashboards and executive summariesJob Expectations:This position required to be in the office five days per weekThis position does not offer visa sponsorshipPosting End Date: 12 Oct 2026*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.We Value Equal OpportunityWells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
