About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent experience preferred License: Valid RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC required Must-Have: - Level 1 Trauma experience strongly recommended - Additional certifications such as ENPC, NIH, CPI preferred Description: The Registered Nurse will work in the Emergency Room. The position requires management of patients across multiple age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The expected patient ratio is 5 patients per nurse. The nurse will be required to work every other weekend and holidays as needed by the unit. No call requirement is associated with this position. Candidates should have experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center. The role involves collaboration with interdisciplinary support services such as respiratory services, phlebotomy, social services, and pharmacy. Candidates must be prepared to be clocked in and ready for report at the specified shift time. The position does not accommodate block scheduling. All lab work is to be scheduled within 48-72 hours after signing the contract. Proof of flu vaccination is required; exemptions must be submitted in a timely manner.
