Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active SLPA license or certification in Colorado, or eligibility to obtain before start date
  • Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred, especially with children or adolescents
  • Strong understanding of speech and language development and intervention techniques
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow therapy plans and work under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Comfortable with documentation, progress tracking, and basic technology platforms

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language interventions to students individually and in small groups
  • Implement IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals as directed by supervising SLP
  • Assist in screening and assessment procedures under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Prepare materials and adapted resources for sessions
  • Collect data and document student progress
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing staff development
  • Foster positive and supportive relationships with students, families, and staff
