Senior Technical Lead

Role Description The Technical Lead is responsible for driving architectural and engineering excellence across a multi-tenant SaaS ecosystem composed of business-to-business portals, internal administrative platforms, and consumer-facing mobile web applications. Acting as the primary technical authority for a cross-functional engineering pod, this role leads the design of scalable cloud-native solutions, robust integration architectures, and modern AI-accelerated development practices. Working closely with product specialists, project managers, and engineering teams, the Technical Lead transforms complex business requirements into secure, scalable, and executable technical solutions. Success in this role means establishing strong engineering standards, enabling predictable delivery, and ensuring the platform evolves with high levels of scalability, security, and operational reliability. Responsibilities Own and define architecture standards across backend services, frontend applications, and shared platform components. Lead specification-driven development processes, ensuring technical clarity, architectural guardrails, and implementation readiness before development begins. Design and oversee scalable cloud-native microservices architectures using Python and modern backend frameworks. Direct the implementation of secure, event-driven integrations with payment gateways, subscription management systems, and communication platforms. Define scalable multi-tenant data strategies using relational database schemas and row-level security approaches. Lead frontend and mobile architecture initiatives using React and React Native or similar frameworks. Ensure application scalability, security, performance optimization, and component reusability across web and mobile platforms. Collaborate with project managers and product stakeholders to transform abstract requirements into executable technical specifications. Mentor engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and engineering best practices. Enforce automated quality standards including contract testing, regression testing, and CI/CD validation processes. Identify and mitigate architectural risks related to integrations, scalability, identity management, and cloud infrastructure. Promote a modern engineering culture leveraging AI-assisted development under strong human governance and technical oversight. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering with proven experience in technical leadership or solution architecture roles. Deep expertise building cloud-native backend microservices using Python and modern lightweight web frameworks. Strong frontend development experience using React and mobile development experience with React Native or similar technologies. Extensive hands-on experience designing and operating cloud-native architectures within public cloud environments. Experience working with serverless infrastructure, managed relational databases, identity providers, and environment isolation strategies. Proven experience designing multi-tenant SaaS platforms and orchestrating complex third-party API integrations. Strong analytical thinking and ability to structure complex technical challenges into actionable execution plans. Advanced English level (C1) with strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills. Experience mentoring engineering teams and establishing technical standards and best practices. Nice to Have Experience implementing AI-assisted or specification-driven software development workflows. Familiarity with event-driven architectures and distributed systems patterns. Experience with cloud security, identity management, and multi-environment deployment strategies. Strong understanding of scalable frontend architecture and reusable design systems. Experience leading engineering teams within product-driven or SaaS-focused organizations. Familiarity with automated testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.
