Registered Nurse - Infusion

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide expert outpatient infusion care for patients with diverse health conditions, including cancer and autoimmune diseases. The nurse will deliver safe, compassionate, and efficient infusion therapies in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Administer intravenous therapies and medications according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patients' responses and manage any adverse reactions during infusion sessions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and clinical outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion processes, potential side effects, and post-treatment care.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control, and healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment plans.

Qualifications:

• Hold an unencumbered Oregon RN license.
• Possess Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification and AHA ACLS certification.
• Demonstrate IV Therapy experience; PICC and midline proficiency preferred.
• Have prior chemotherapy experience; infusion (CRNI) and/or Oncology (OCN) certification preferred.
• Show a strong understanding of infusion protocols and patient safety procedures.
• Prefer candidates with current outpatient infusion experience and ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy-Immunotherapy certification.
