Actuarial Interns primarily conduct data analysis using tools such as Excel, VBA, PowerBI, and SQL to support our products. You will collaborate with employees across the company, developing both technical and interpersonal skills in a professional services environment.What We're Looking For:Required:At least one actuarial exam passedCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or a related field with quantitative courseworkGeneral proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookPreferred:Experience with SQL queries and/or data modeling tools such as VBA or RExperience with data visualization toolsPrior internship(s) or related work experienceWhat You Bring to the Table:Eagerness to learn and navigate new or ambiguous situationsStrong communication skills for effectively conveying complex informationAdaptability and flexibility in various work scenariosAmbition and enthusiasm for professional developmentPositive, constructive attitude when resolving issuesExcellent time management skillsAttention to detail and organizational skillsProfessionalism and maturity in handling projectsCompensation:The overall range for this role is $21.00 - $46.00. A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc. This is a non-exempt overtime eligible roleLocation: This position will be based out of the Milliman office in Milwaukee (Brookfield), WI.
