Over the last century, our expanded capabilities, project experience, safety record, and commitment to quality have made Enerfab one of the industry leaders in shop fabrication, field erection and construction and maintenance services.ResponsibilitiesEstimating & Pre-ConstructionReview RFQs, drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for refractory projectsPerform quantity take-offs for refractory materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractorsSolicite and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricingDevelop detailed proposals, scopes of work, and project schedulesParticipate in bid reviews and client presentations as neededProject ManagementManage projects from award through closeout, including planning, execution, and financial performanceDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecastsCoordinate with clients, field crews, subcontractors, and internal teamsEnsure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirementsMonitor job progress, productivity, and quality of installationField & Technical OversightProvide technical guidance on refractory installation methods, materials, and best practicesConduct site visits, pre-job walks, and project meetingsStaffing and development of the refractory crewsSupport troubleshooting and problem-solving in the fieldEnsure proper documentation of work performed, including reports and change ordersFinancial & Contract ManagementTrack project costs, manage budgets, and maintain profitabilityPrepare and manage change orders and billingReview contracts and ensure complianceSupport project closeout, including final cost analysis and documentationQualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field experience (preferred)5+ years of experience in refractory, industrial construction, or related fieldExperience in both estimating and project management strongly preferredTechnical SkillsStrong understanding of refractory materials (brick, castable, ceramic fiber, etc.)Experience in industrial environments (metals, power, cement, glass, petrochemical, etc.)Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and P&IDsProficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office SuiteCore CompetenciesStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and client relationship skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProblem-solving mindset with attention to detailKnowledge of safety standards and best practices
