Rehab Registered Nurse

At HCA Healthcare's Doctors Hospital of Augusta , our I npatient Rehabilitation team is dedicated to helping patients regain independence, improve functionality, and achieve their highest level of recovery following illness, injury, or surgery. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient-centered care in a collaborative rehabilitation environment.

As an Inpatient Rehab RN, you will play a critical role in supporting patients through their recovery journey while working alongside physicians, therapists, case managers, and multidisciplinary care teams.

What you will do: 

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for rehabilitation patients.

• Monitor patient progress and identify changes in condition.

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.

• Collaborate with physical, occupational, and speech therapists to support individualized rehabilitation goals.

• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, recovery expectations, medications, and discharge planning.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards.

• Advocate for patients and promote a positive, healing environment.
• Qualifications: 

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

• Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact state licensure.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within established timeframe.

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
