Key Responsibilities of the Sterile Processing Technician
  • Assist in the decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Perform routine inspections of sterilization processes
  • Maintain accurate records of sterilization and inventory
  • Collaborate with surgical team and other healthcare professionals
Requirements of the Sterile Processing Technician
  • Valid certification as a Sterile Processing Technician
  • Previous experience in sterile processing preferred
  • Knowledge of sterilization procedures and infection control
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts.
