Registered Nurse (RN) - Psych Mental Health

Location: 1250 Silver St, Middletown (10168) Shift: Wednesday 10:00 am‑6:30 pm, Thursday & Friday 7:00 am‑3:30 pm, every other Saturday/Sunday 7:00 am‑3:30 pm Hiring Bonus: Eligible for up to a $3,000 hiring bonus* Job Summary Deliver efficient, high‑quality and safe nursing care to all clients in the program(s). Monitor, assess, plan care, intervene and evaluate the medical/nursing management of clients within the incumbent’s care and in all other levels of care, as assigned by the ACE Nurse Manager and/or ACE Team Leader. Perform Charge Nurse role in the clinical oversight of counselor assistants, certified nurse assistants and other licensed staff ensuring completion of all assigned work tasks on the accountability sheet. May also assume Team Leader responsibilities as assigned by the ACE Nurse Manager. Qualifications Valid CT RN license Minimum of Associate’s degree in nursing Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred CPR & AED certified within six months of employment Accredited certification in Addictions Nursing (CARN) or Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing (or currently pursuing credentialing) preferred Minimum of one year nursing experience in Psychiatric or Substance Abuse Treatment preferred Experience as a CNA, Mental Health Worker, or other related field desirable for newly graduated nurses Benefits Medical and dental benefits 401(k) plan with employer match Generous paid time off with accrual starting on the date of hire, including seven paid holidays Additional voluntary benefits as well as employee discount programs #J-18808-Ljbffr
