For more information on the company, please visit Summary: This position is for a dedicated professional with a passion for protecting the environment and ensuring the health and safety of our team members.Primary Responsibilities:Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly metrics to report to onsite management teams and corporate based reporting systemsSupport management efforts to ensure compliance with all corporate program expectations and applicable federal and state lawsConduct risk assessments related to jobs performed (Job Hazard Analysis) and new equipment introductionsResponsible for recommending appropriate risk mitigation measures to management, including ergonomicsAvailable to work flexible shifts including days, nights and/or weekendsQualifications and Experience:1-3 years of experience in an environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field AND B.degree.Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacityExperience maintaining confidentiality in matter involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplaceGood communication and teamwork skills, good problem-solving skills.Knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety management system practices and developing, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental management System and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management.Strong sense of responsibility, highly motivated, forward thinking, and proactive.Compensation and Benefits: Canadian Solar offers a competitive salary plus fully comprehensive benefits and performance bonus package based on an annual objective achievement.
