Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Provide medication reminders and report any health changes to the supervisor
- Support mobility and transfer assistance safely
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy with strong interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Santa Cruz, CA
- Ability to pass background checks and any required screenings
- Basic understanding of elder care and safety procedures
- Flexible schedule to accommodate client needs
