Lab Tech

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Lab Tech to join their team. As a Lab Tech, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the Assistant Manufacturing Manager. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and strong work ethic which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lab Tech

Location: Alachua, FL

Pay Range: $ 20

Shift: Full time with flexibility of a 4/10 shift or 5/8. Day shifts.

What's the Job?

• Set up lab equipment and participate in running equipment for specific projects

• Maintain and clean lab equipment such as vacuum pumps and thermocouples

• Follow detailed manufacturing procedures and safety protocols

• Assist in handling hazardous waste and ensure proper disposal

• Operate routine instrumentation like GCs and melting point apparatus

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions

• Knowledge of experimental procedures and safety standards

• Comfort working with chemicals and high-pressure equipment

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
