Position Summary 

This is a full-time, in-office role based in Scottsdale, AZ. The Marketing Specialist is a versatile marketing professional responsible for supporting a wide range of marketing initiatives across Walton's business lines. Acting as a key member of the corporate marketing team, this position manages marketing projects from concept through execution while collaborating with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and agency partners. The Marketing Specialist plays an integral role in content development, social media management, public relations support, event coordination, and campaign execution to help strengthen Walton's brand and achieve business objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Coordinate and execute integrated marketing initiatives supporting Walton's corporate brand and business lines.
• Manage marketing projects from intake through completion, ensuring deadlines, priorities, and stakeholder expectations are met.
• Develop, edit, and publish content for LinkedIn, YouTube, the company website, blogs, email campaigns, and other digital marketing channels.
• Assist in the development of thought leadership content, corporate communications, presentations, and internal messaging.
• Support public relations initiatives by coordinating with Walton's external PR agency, including press release execution, media materials, award submissions, and monitoring media opportunities.
• Coordinate the development and production of marketing collateral, working closely with the Multimedia Designer and external vendors.
• Assist with promotional merchandise, branded materials, business card orders, and other marketing fulfillment requests.
• Collaborate with the Technical Marketing Specialist on website updates, landing pages, SEO initiatives, and digital campaigns.
• Partner with the Market Research Analyst to incorporate market intelligence, competitive insights, and industry trends into marketing initiatives.
• Maintain marketing calendars, project timelines, content schedules, and campaign reporting.
• Ensure all marketing materials align with Walton's brand standards and corporate messaging.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Capital Markets, Investor Relations, Land, Development, Operations, and Executive Leadership to deliver exceptional marketing support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a closely related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional marketing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience developing marketing and communications content.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of social media strategy and content management, particularly LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional marketing initiatives.
• Familiarity with public relations, media relations, and corporate communications preferred.
• Strong organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
