Food Runner

Responsibilities for Food Runner at Zuna Nightclub and Restaurant

• Rapid and Accurate Delivery: Ensure timely and precise delivery of food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables, maintaining the highest standards of service and presentation.
• Liaison Between Front and Back of House: Serve as the crucial point of contact between Front of House and Back of House staff, facilitating smooth and efficient communication.
• Order Communication: Clearly communicate food orders to chefs, paying close attention to priorities such as special requests and food allergies to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
• Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any questions or concerns about their orders and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Assisting Service Staff: Support servers and other staff by ensuring that all food items are delivered promptly and correctly, helping to maintain a seamless flow of service.
• Bilingual Communication: Utilize bilingual skills in Spanish and English to effectively communicate with guests and staff, ensuring clear and accurate interactions in a diverse environment.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience as a food runner or in a similar role within a high-volume restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred.
• Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish is essential for effective communication with our diverse clientele and team.
• Team Player: Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating teamwork and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
