Full-time Director of Sacred Music - Saint John the Baptist, Jordan, MN

Full-time Director of Sacred Music - Saint John the Baptist, Jordan, MN Hello all! I am leaving this position on very good terms. Father Neil Bakker is as supportive of a pastor as you could hope for, the choir community have some of the best people I know, and the program has been growing in all facets (especially quality of the choir) throughout my 3 years here. The parish is now familiar with much of what Source and Summit has to offer, Gregorian chant has been used (here and there), with a good smattering of the renaissance polyphonic/Anglican/romantic era/modern sacred choral repertoire. 3 weekend Masses, 1 school Mass per week. Choir rehearses year-round. There may be parish housing available upon request, and there is a good contingent of people who put their time, hearts, voices, and money behind sacred music at Saint John's.
