Role Description The Regional Sales Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for driving sales growth and market development for GIW® slurry pumps and related solutions within an assigned territory. This position focuses on building and managing relationships with mining and dredging customers, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding existing accounts. Day-to-day activities include conducting customer visits and virtual meetings, understanding client operational challenges, proposing tailored pump and service solutions, and preparing quotations and proposals. The Regional Sales Manager collaborates closely with engineering, product management, and customer service teams to ensure successful project execution and ongoing customer satisfaction. The role also involves forecasting and reporting sales performance, monitoring market trends and competitor activities, participating in industry events, and promoting KSB’s value-added technologies and services. Qualifications Sales and business development skills, including territory management, account management, and contract negotiation. Technical aptitude in Centrifugal pumps, (slurry pumps is a plus), rotating mining equipment, with the ability to understand specifications and performance data. Strong relationship-building and customer service skills, with experience supporting clients in mining, aggregates or heavy industry, preferred. Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess customer operations and recommend solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs. Effective communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, accessible language. Self-motivated and organized, capable of working independently in a remote environment and managing multiple opportunities simultaneously. Proficiency with CRM systems, MS Office, and digital collaboration tools; familiarity with IIoT or digital monitoring solutions is an advantage. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Eng. Associate related Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical or Mining specialties. Experience in technical sales is a plus.
