Job Title: QA Tester
Job Description:
We are looking for a QA Tester responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through manual and/or automated testing. The role involves identifying bugs, reporting issues, and working closely with development teams to deliver high-quality products.
Must-Have Skills:
- Experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications
- Good understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and bug life cycle
- Experience in writing and executing test cases
- Knowledge of defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Basic understanding of SQL is an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases
- Execute manual test cases and report defects
- Perform regression, functional, and integration testing
- Work closely with developers to ensure timely defect resolution
- Participate in daily stand-ups and testing updates
Good to Have:
- Automation testing knowledge (Selenium / TestNG / Cucumber)
- API testing experience (Postman / REST Assured)
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
